Development and implementation of online tools for personalized dietary advice

Eetscore and NutriProfiel have been successfully developed and implemented for use in both home settings as well as clinical settings. Recently the results were presented at the FENS congress by Mariëlle de Rijk of Wageningen University and Research.

Development and implementation of online tools for personalized dietary advice

Only few people manage to comply with the dietary guidelines. NutriProfiel and Eetscore can support patients and healthcare professionals in improving dietary habits, at home or in a clinical setting. The Eetscore tool assesses to what extent daily intake adheres to the Dutch food Based Dietary Guidelines of 2015 (Dutch Health Council).
Nutriprofiel is an application that combines blood values and dietary intake to generate a dietary advice. In NutriProfiel the Eetscore monitors the intake of micronutrients. The advice of NutriProfiel contains practical hints to increase micronutrient intake and is reported electronically to the doctor.

The FENS is  European Nutrition Conference: “Malnutrition in an Obese World: European Perspectives”. Find here the poster of Eetscore and NutriProfiel as presented at FENS:
